ART

Little Saint is proud to collaborate with Saint Joseph’s Arts Foundation to present rotating exhibitions and inspiring activations through art installations, book-signings and conversations with local thought leaders and artists.

Founded by Creative Director Ken Fulk in 2018, Saint Joseph’s Arts Foundation was built to support the creative community and nurture a spirit of gratitude. As a spin-off of that concept, Little Saint is a satellite venue for the Foundation’s arts programming.

Saint Joseph’s Arts Foundation is a 501(c)(3) cultural organization providing creative events and shows in Healdsburg, San Francisco, and Provincetown, Massachusetts.

THE ART OF MOLLY KARS

Spirit Animal Portraiture

Molly is a visual artist living and working in Sebastopol, California. She has been working professionally as an artist since graduating from San Francisco State University in 2008 with a degree in Studio Art. You can find her current body of work, ‘Spirit Animal Portraiture,” featured throughout Little Saint.

“While it is true that my fascination with Spirit Animal Portraiture is indeed whimsical, resplendent and amusing, it also carries with it a deep wisdom and appreciation for the natural world and every facet within it. My goal is to speak for those creatures and elements whose voices are rarely heard, whose profound wisdom offers humans salvation if they would only take the time to listen and learn. My art is a bridge between the sanity of the natural world and humanity’s chaotic, destructive, frenetic actions. My creations highlight the connectedness inherent in life and remind us of the importance of diversity, sustainability and the sublime beauty all around us.” - Molly Kars
