BERISFORD
Berisford studied graphic design in London before launching a 25-year career in advertising. In 2019, he moved to the Bay Area, inspired by the vibrant light and retro Americana, and began painting. Two years later, he transitioned to a full-time artist. His work, influenced by his background as an art director, often features strong compositions and large negative spaces. Berisford is selective with materials, using Michael Harding handmade oil paints for a rich finish. His “Pantone Paintings” reflect his graphic design roots, capturing specific moments with emotive colors. The collaboration with Little Saint celebrates color, texture, and the playful spirit that complements the ambiance.
“In California we are spoiled by the sheer abundance of places that transport the mind to happy and worry-free times. The work is made from impasto brushwork in joyous colors which aims to capture California like a Polaroid camera.”

IN COLLABORATION
Founded by Ken Fulk in 2018, Saint Joseph’s Arts Society is a vibrant cultural organization that celebrates creativity in all its forms—from visual art and music to design, performance, and beyond. Its nonprofit arm, Saint Joseph’s Arts Foundation, is a 501(c)(3) based in uniquely creative communities including San Francisco and Provincetown, Massachusetts.
Through both in-person and virtual events, Saint Joseph’s Arts Foundation presents live performances, curated exhibitions, culinary collaborations, thought-provoking talks, and imaginative celebrations—often in partnership with local artists and organizations.
Little Saint collaborates with Saint Joseph’s on select events and artist exhibitions in Healdsburg and San Francisco, supporting the Foundation’s mission to foster culture and community through immersive experiences. As a programming friend and beneficiary of a portion of Little Saint’s profits, both organizations are dedicated to building a creative community by hosting public programs and nurturing lasting relationships with regional artists and cultural producers.
